Pink Panther Playgroup Sessions
Our Playgroup can cater for up to 36 children, 5 mornings and 5 afternoons per week, Monday to Friday, with up to 18 children attending each session.
8.40am to 11.50am or 8.45am to 1.45pm
Parents and children are asked to wait outside the building until a member of staff opens the door. This door remains locked at all times to ensure Pink Panther and Nursery children’s safety. Please take this opportunity to read the notice boards to help keep you informed of what is happening at playgroup.
Please inform the staff if someone other than yourself will be collecting your child.
Please also inform the playleader if there is someone who is not allowed to collect your child. It is important to drop off and return to collect your child on time as no child likes to be the last one to arrive or be collected.
A glass of milk or water and a healthy snack is provided daily. Fresh fruit is always available. We use this time to encourage independence, social skills, healthy eating and cultural awareness. The children are introduced to a wide variety of tastes and types of food, both familiar and new.
Children are eligible to receive a funded place in playgroup in the term after their third birthday. However, parents may choose to pay for provision from their child’s third birthday until they are eligible to receive funding at a cost of £7 per session.
We are a partner centre funded by Highland Regional Council and are run by a parent committee. We organise several fund raising events throughout the year assisted by parents to help fund parties, outings and new equipment.
